A modern system for public financial management of the Government of Ajman, which is used by government authorities in planning, implementing, controlling and issuing reports on the government general budget. The system is an information and technical platform for applying the rules, policies and operations of public finance management.

This law aims at achieving transparency, accountability and rational management of public funds, by regulating the following: 1. Preparing and managing the general budget and follow-up its implementation. 2. Preparing and approving the final accounts, and setting the basic rules governing financial records.

The Executive Regulations of Financial Law of The Government of Ajman were issued under The Emiri Resolution No. (12) of 2011. It included the principles and interpreting provisions of Financial Law and it contained Sixteen chapters, in addition to the final provisions

The Financial Policies and Procedures Guide is considered a complementary legal legislation to the provisions of the Financial Law and the provisions of the Executive Regulations, and all government departments must abide by the policies and procedures contained therein in all financial and related administrative processes of the concerned government department.
