Ajman Free Zone announced the linking of its digital services to the Ajman Smart Payment Gateway, in a move that will provide various payment channels and methods that meet the needs of businessmen, investors and companies that have their headquarters in the Emirate of Ajman. The link came under an agreement signed remotely, using the digital identity UAE Pass, by Fatima Salem, commissioned director general of the Ajman Free Zone, and Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, director general of the Department of Finance. Fatima Salem, Acting Director General of the Ajman Free Zone, said, "We are happy to conclude this strategic partnership with the Ajman Department of Finance to support the digital transformation process in the emirate and to provide exceptional services that enhance the quality of life and center around the customer and achieve his happiness. This agreement comes as part of our efforts to provide more services and facilities that serve investors of all levels.” She added, "Linking our digital services to the Ajman Smart Payment Gateway confirms the great efforts made by the Department of Finance in supporting government departments to achieve the emirate's strategy aimed at transforming all government services into digital. Thanks to this cooperation, she said, paying for our services has become easier and smoother due to the multiplicity of payment channels and methods offered by the portal, and our services include establishing a new company, licensing, renewal, permit and many other services.” For his part, Marwan Ahmed Al Ali said, "We are pleased to be one of the first supporters of the Ajman Free Zone to be able to convert all its services into digital services, and we are ready to exert more effort in order to enhance the competitiveness of the Emirate of Ajman and consolidate its leading position in the field of digital transformation.
