
His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, issued Emiri Resolution No. “2” for the year 2021, regarding registration in the Register of Suppliers, Contractors and Consultants at the Department of Finance in Ajman. The decision comes within the framework of the economic trends pursued by the emirate's government, in accordance with its strategic plan 21(2), which aims to provide an attractive business environment that supports and stimulates investors, and promotes the growth of the national economy. Based on this decision, the annual renewal fees for companies were canceled, and the department collected a fee of 100 dirhams for the registration of the supplier, contractor or consultant in the register, in order to support companies and motivate them to register in the system, and to deal with various agencies in the Ajman government. The Ajman government, represented by the Department of Finance, granted privileges to owners of small and medium enterprises and establishments “Tazez”, exempting this category from registration fees in the registry, and registering them free of charge, as part of its keenness to facilitate procedures and implement initiatives that benefit the owners of projects and small enterprises. and medium. The decision also excluded a number of entities from fees for registration in the register, if the registration applicant is owned by a charitable association or a civil institution of public benefit, or owned by one of the entities exempted from local fees, or is affiliated with or owned by any local or federal government entity or an exclusive agent. The proceeds of the fees collected under the provisions of this resolution shall be transferred to the account of the government's public treasury.
