The courses also included qualifying employees to use financial systems and applications, and how to prepare financial statements, and this comes within the scope of the Department of Finance's strategic plan to enhance financial performance at the Ajman government level. Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of the Department of Finance in Ajman, confirmed that these courses came as a translation of the directives of Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Ruler’s Representative for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Head of the Department of Finance, on the need to build the employee’s capabilities and qualify him as the nucleus of successful institutional work, and out of the Department of Finance’s belief in the need to develop Skills, education and raising the efficiency of workers in the financial sector in the government of Ajman, which has a significant impact on the financial performance of the Emirate, to keep pace with change and face future challenges and adapt to them on an ongoing basis. He pointed out that the Department of Finance has paid increasing attention to training operations on financial systems, applications and policies, as it has attracted the best specialists in this field in coordination with specialized agencies and centers. It has also provided training facilities at the department's headquarters at the highest levels to ensure the availability of an appropriate educational environment. Noting that the courses for the first half of 2019 included various topics, including the financial statements course, tax accounting and tax examination, the economic feasibility of projects in accordance with the requirements of the unified financial system of the government of Ajman, financial accounting, advanced procurement system, and other training courses that contribute to empowering and refining expertise government employees.
