In line with the directives of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and under the follow-up of H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of Ajman Executive Council, Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Representative of H.H. the Ruler of Ajman for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Chairman of the Department of Economic Development in Ajman, has issued Decision No. (18) of 2025 adopting new regulations and procedures to govern partnership projects between government entities and the private sector. The decision outlines the financial and technical criteria and requirements for selecting partners, with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of government spending and ensuring the highest standards of governance and sustainability in implementing government projects across the Emirate.
This step aligns with the Ajman Government’s directions to strengthen the system of government work, ensure the optimal use of public resources, and empower the private sector to contribute effectively to development and infrastructure projects. It also promotes innovation, supports competitiveness in public service delivery, and advances the objectives of Ajman Vision 2030.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi emphasised that the adoption of these regulations and standards reflects the Emirate’s aspirations for a sustainable financial and economic future. He stated: “Believing that strategic partnerships are a key pillar in achieving balanced development and enhancing the quality of government services in line with global best practices, this decision establishes a comprehensive framework for regulating constructive partnerships, ensuring the application of governance principles, and promoting the concept of value for money in all government projects.”
